OneMedNet Issued Patent for its BEAM™ Network Technology
OneMedNet Corporation, provider of BEAM™, the industry-leading, peer-to-peer (P2P) network for securely sharing medical images, announced today that the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued to the company U.S. Patent No. 8,065,166, entitled “Methods, Systems, And Devices For Managing Medical Images And Records”, for its BEAM technology.
OneMedNet’s patented P2P technology, BEAM, was developed to enable rapid and secure transfer of medical images and files directly between providers. Under the hood, BEAM includes approval-based transfer protocols, one-time-use paired encryption keys, patient data reconciliation and electronic auditing.
