How BEAM Works

BEAM customers exchange imaging studies directly with each other utilizing existing Internet connections.  No VPNs and no storage in the cloud is required.  BEAM studies are exchanged using our patented peer-to-peer (P2P) technology that ensures transfers are fast, secure, and simple.

Prior to each patient transfer, both sides approve the transfer, which is logged for HIPAA compliance.  The patient’s medical record number is reconciled for storage in the destination PACS.

BEAM transfers studies in full-fidelity to the destination PACS, where providers can utilize their existing imaging infrastructure to view, diagnose, and render the images.
