Christopher Hanna, PhD joins Minnesota HIMSS Chapter Board of Directors
Christopher Hanna, CEO of OneMedNet, has been nominated to join the Board of Directors for the Minnesota chapter of HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society). HIMSS is a global not-for-profit organization that supports the transformation of health using information and technology.
“I am sincerely honored to join this important and impactful organization,” stated Mr. Hanna. “We live in an information age with tremendous advancements touching our lives all the time. However, without the driving force of HIMSS and its highly motivated staff, members, and volunteers, these advancements would undoubtedly take longer to find their way into actual patient care.”
HIMSS consists of more than 70,000 individual members across the world, along with 630 corporate members, and over 450 other non-profit organizations. Thought leadership, community building, public policy, professional workforce development and engaging events all represent an important component of HIMSS activities.
Mr. Hanna will assume his board role starting on July 24th.
