OneMedNet is rapidly expanding into an emerging market for imaging Real World Data (iRWD). We provide innovative solutions that unlock the significant value contained within the Real-World Data (“RWD”) repositories of over 1,400 healthcare system and provider sites that currently comprise its iRWD™ network. OneMedNet’s proprietary iRWD™ platform provides secure, comprehensive management of a continuously expanding and diverse set of clinical data, including electronic health records, laboratory results, and uniquely, medical images.
We are looking for a highly motivated and self-directing Clinical Data Curator to join our team who can work on all aspects of leadership, business management and clinical data curation for an exciting new healthcare IT service.
Duties & Responsibilities
To ensure that the order data is accurate, curated, undergoes quality control, and is delivered in a timely manner. Providing updates on system stability. Working cross functionally to test system updates and performance. The Curator will also follow all HIPAA, Ethics Policies and Privacy laws pertaining to curated data.
- Project Management, keeping management versed on project timelines and obstacles
- Work closely with data consumers to understand patient cohorts and associated stratifications
- Search, collect, and curate large, complex clinical datasets
- Help drive best practices and develop standards and process documentation for data curation
- Quality Control for data collections, generating data summary QC reports
- Verification and quality check of Medical Imaging data, DICOM and clinical characteristics
- Work in a collaborative team environment in support of our customer-centric culture
- Understand OMND’s Quality and Ethics Policies, support the achievement of the organization’s quality objectives, and take corrective action when necessary to mitigate organizational risk.
Required Skills
- Minimum of Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in healthcare related field
- Prior work experience in a clinical setting as a physician’s assistance, radiologic technologist, clinical analyst, pharmacy technician or similar
- Working knowledge of healthcare information systems, such as PACS/VNA and EHR/EMR
- Solid understanding of the management of healthcare data and data quality, including use of standard healthcare terminologies and ontologies (SNOMED-CT, ICD, CPT, RxNorm, and NDC)
- Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
- Desire and ability to learn new skills, systems, and processes
- Computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet applications
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Effective interpersonal and client service skills
- Effective technical presentation skills to technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects/tasks while meeting deadlines.
